Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

I'm visiting my sister today - she promised me homemade soup.

I'm crockpotting a hearty pinto bean soup that includes pork steak, carrots, onion, and a liberal amount of cayenne pepper.

We'll see how that goes, and report back later.

Dee requested pizza. It's gonna be Margharita pepperoni,(the only kind I will buy) nuked in the microwave to get rid of most of the grease, fresh red peppers, roaster red peppers, mushrooms that have been sauteed in butter and garlic, black and calamata olives, cherry tomatoes, and lots of provolone cheese.
