(Thanks! Actually, it's a sprig of Cherry Blossoms which I should have reduced in size a bit more before adding to Mom's photo.)

I love to wear flowers in my hair. I used to wear my hair up a lot, and I'd often ring my chignon with flowers.

You used to wear long cotton dresses with an empire waist or lace-up bodice.

Yes! This would be the 60s, wouldn't you know.

Upon a time, you loved floppy hats

Not so much the floppy hats. I had a friend who looked GREAT in one, though.

You loved your bell-bottoms.

Yes ma'am, wore them until recently

"Don't go knocking on death's door.  Just ring the bell and run like he'll. He hates that."

Sorry, not a t or f. I just ran into this, and couldn' help myself.

I love that. I've been pretty good at the ol' "ring & run" so far. Hahaha!

(Here's a 2-part T or F.) In the 60s/70s, you loved tops made in Mexico with lots of bright, embroidered flowers. In fact, you took up embroidery and embroidered a few yourself.

Mostly yes. Yes to part 1. For part 2, I embroidered curtains and napkins.

  • You made napkins and dishcloths out of favorite garments you loved, tasty were too ragged to wear

No napkins or dishcloths, but I did make a lap quilt.

You really enjoy reusing old items in creative new ways (like making a mosaic table top out of old, cracked dishes).

Yeah, something like that, if I would have thought of it

You feel nostalgic for everything Irish right now

Being of Scottish heritage, let's say I'm nostalgic for all things Celtic. ツ

You had corned beef and cabbage for dinner last night.

True. Even though I was just cooking for myself

You love the leftovers as well a, if not better than the first time

Yeah, that's generally true, especially if it's a stew or long-cooked dish.

After years of cooking for a family, it's hard for you to cook for one.

Actually, not hard: quicker and easier, but I sometimes make too much.

You often cook too much.
