I did. A grown-up looking camel's hair coat when I was 4 and two dresses my mom made for me--one in black cotton and one in mustard cotton--that had tiny, bright Pennsylvania Dutch images on them.

It does seem strange to me how much some people rely on takeout.

You loved cooking from a very early age.

I did. My mother was the best cook I've ever encountered and her love of cooking attracted me to it.

At some point, you watched at least one cooking show series.

Who could forget Julia Child and her dropped turkey and generously unmeasured booze.
