Yes to both. My prom corsage was a huge purple Cattleya orchid and clashed terribly with my dress, but my date had put such caring into getting it, I loved it and wore it proudly.

I did. Although, I usually worked beside him.
There are some chores you're pushing yourself to do and you know that at some point you won't physically be able to do them. (HAHA! Depressing. Let's think about puppies and kittens!!!)

All animals lift my spirits, but puppies and kittens usually more than birds.

Yup. Dyslexic Dodger made them out of wood (she's a wonderful carpenter), and I made some on the pottery wheel and with hand-building. Plus made some out of dried gourds.
You especially love the sound of birdsong early in the morning before it's fully light.
