(I hope Walmart fed them dinner too! They can be nice. I co-chaired an AIDs-related foundation for 10 years, and Walmart was generous with donations of merchandise which we would give to our clients. Anyway, I'm glad to know things are settling down up there. It's going to take a while for the survivors to process it all and begin recovery.)

Would you rather live at a higher elevation exposed to the elements (like on a mountainside) or a lower one which is sheltered (like in a valley)?

The valley for me. Sorry, not very brave

I'll ask you. The same question

The mountainside for me. Wind is my favorite (Ayurvedic) element.

You prefer being there to watching sports on TV.

Yes. Popcorn and crackerjacks are also nice.

You prefer crackerjacks to popcorn

True.

You like popcorn with butter, and that's why you tend not to eat it now in the world of low-fat.

Well, actually, I do anyway. Pop Secret has it included, and I just don't add extra.

You have actually tasted kolaches,  instead of just hearing about them.

True. Yummy.

You usually have music on in the house.

Not so much. In the car, though.

Someone in the neighborhood plays loud music with the windows open

Nope. It's pretty much all old folks here.

You turn the music up loud in the car and sing at the top of your lungs when you're on a road trip.

Haven't been on a road trip in awhile,  but when hubby was around, we used to do that.

You are starting seeds to sprout on your window sill.

I wish I were. Everyplace I can get to is in the shade now.

Some years, you bought already-started plants rather than seeds because you'd gotten a very late start planting.

that is true. Sometimes danger of frost was late in the season.

You go thru your favorite plant catalogs while snow is still on the ground
