True. Not necessarily the cornier the better, but I do like a horrifyingly bad sci-fi flick. :>) (The Mole People, for example)
You think people can be scarier than any monster.
(I liked the early Star Trek, where they stole Spock's brain and put it in a jar)
That is true
and you think animals make better company,(sometimes)
Absolutely!
You love pretty much all animals. (I'm sort of ashamed that I'm afraid of snakes, except constrictors, which I like.)
true (I actually don't mind snakes. They startle me sometimes. Dickenson's "zero at the bone"
you have been on a whale watch. (Did I ask you this before?)
Perfect pick from Dickinson! And how true--the mammal's natural revulsion for reptiles.
Haha! I'm not sure... It's true, though. Several of 'em--mostly off Provincetown and Nantucket.
You have swum with dolphins.
I wish I had
you had rubber dolphins in your tub when you were a kid
Nope, no bath toys. I was in the hospital a good part of my early childhood.
For the most part, you had a happy childhood.
looking back, it shouldn't have been, but I made it so
you never grew into your clothes before they were worn out
False. My mom was very concerned with appearance, so she bought (or made) clothes which fit me and were stylish. I'll never forget when I was a teenager and mini-skirts were in--my mom went into my closet and put all my skirts up without my knowledge. Surprise!!
You like loose-fitting, comfortable clothes.
very true
you have lots of shoes, for all kinds of activities
True. I loves ma shoes and boots!
You always used to wing it, but then you found out that sometimes specialty tools or clothing really improve your experience with whatever you're doing. (I'm thinking of the first time I wore skin tight, 3-way stretch riding breeches. Haha! They show every dimple but, boy, they make being in the saddle for hours much easier!)
I'm coming around to that view.
similarly, you like to try new things, just to see how they work
