had lunch w/ animak today, in Traverse City. helluva nice guy!
MI is a pretty state, just a mite cold (but not this week, thankfully!). i'm 'bout done seeing the northwestern part, am saving the northeastern part for later in the week. -

we made it thru Veteran's Day. my mailman is just back from Afghanistan, he's a Master SGT, USA reserves, and a logistician, and volunteered to go with a different unit, just 2 years after a tour in Iraq. i'm so glad he's back safely

Well the whole family went to the Veteran's Day Ceremony, met a lot of vets and watched my granddaughter and other 4th graders march into the ceremony carrying flags from all over Mobile and Baldwin county. It was a beautiful ceremony. Ann Margaret and Americas Junior Miss 2010 were there. It was a beautiful day, tired and I'm going to bed. You all have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

i have not been here 'til 'way late...but life is going okay. hotel room is about as good as being at my sister's (cept for not having full kitchen), but time w/ my guy is wonderful. today it was dinner w/ his daughter and grandkids, and seeing the "places" of his life here.... i am feeling very peaceful tonite, this is soooo right.
