Ok, not beginning with with T. I've been there done that. It was years ago, but we went on a 2 week vacation, and the couple of fleas we had turned into a hoard. I'm not kidding, when we walked on the carpet, a "cloud" of them were visible. I went to a "Do It Yourself" pest place and sprayed the carpet myself. Killed all the critters, and we all wore shoes for a couple weeks. Just an idea. 

PS. Doesn't Orkin have some type of guarantee policy??? OK, if not, This was a long time ago, and some pesticides that were available then are not available now. But I live in FL. and there are all kinds of bugs, ants, critters, etc. I buy stuff from a local DTY place' and Home Depot' and do it all myself. A pump sprayer will probably be under $20 and the chemicals probably under $10. I'm assuming that is a bunch less than Orkin charged.
