I was in the pool today with my grandson. Yes, the pool is pretty chilly, but he wanted to get in, so grandpa said OK. I'm good with cold water,(I've actually been it 3 times in the last couple of weeks, but not for long) but he really suprised me by getting in. He was hanging out on the steps, and I went to the other side of the pool and told him there was a warm spot there. He came over and jumped in, and the look on his face was priceless. He headed for the steps as fast as he could, but then got back in a couple of times. The only reason he got in was his grandpa was in, and he wanted to prove that he was as brave as me.
