TBD

TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Yeah....I've always wondered about me.
I'm so glad you're back, DD. '-)
In my mind,  just a lot of fluff and nonsense..just like TV tonight.     :-]
Lounging in bed...sipping ginger ale....being cared for by my hubby.
(((RRC)))
I'm back in OH. Came back to see Mom for Mother's Day.

sigh....

....I know flying's way easier & just makes sense, but I wish ya'll drove thru Atlanta on your FL-OH travels.

Any chance of a several hour Atlanta layover on your return? '-)

(((DD!)))

Happy Friday.

Across the street behind my place is a large day care center. While sitting at my computer desk this morning I happened to look out the window and I see a woman escorting a boy about 3 or 4 years old down the sidewalk connecting the parking lot to the front door. A few feet from the door the little guy broke away from his Mother, assuming it was his Mother, and ran back down the sidewalk. As he veered into the grassy strip separating the walk from the street I wanted to shout, "Stop him before he gets to the street!" But the little fellow was on a mission; there in the grass which had been mowed a few days ago was a single Dandelion bloom big as a half dollar. He plucked that bloom and with it clutched in his little fist and a smile on his face he ran back to his Mother and handed it to her. With a smile on her face and maybe a tear on her cheek she hugged him and took him inside. I felt so privildged to have witnessed that special private moment between a Mother and her child. My wish is that every Mother in this world is honored this Sunday with that kind of sweet, simple love. Happy Mother's Day ya'll!

.
That is truly beautiful, Bob. Thank you for sharing it w/us.

*sniff*

You are so lucky to have witnessed such a sweet moment.  I miss my Mom everyday...wish I could give her a dandelion....and a kiss.
