Better there than the nursing facility, I guess. (Not saying anything against the poor--literally--staff who work in those places; but as for me, I'd rather be in the cemetary becuz being old sucks.)

I hear ya loud and clear. My mom went from assisted living to the nursing home section of the same facility. I don't want to live if I need help getting on a bedside commode, or even getting out of bed. I'll opt out of this life before I ever end up like that.

I agree. Any suggestions on opting out methods that aren't painfull/messy but will actually work rather than leading to a veg. state? (ive heard there arent any.)
