TBD on Ning

Ready for a new one? May we try something different? I have been tripping of late through my old tunes and find many memories stirred through the process. They are coming out in my haikus. Loose rules here except for the 5-7-5 standard. Write a haiku about your favorite tune, capture favorite lines from your song, write about your favorite songwriter or however you choose to do it. You can tell what the song is if you like or have your friends guess. Let's have some fun here and bring back some of our favorite tunes. Might be a way of honoring our "heroes" of younger years. Below are a couple of haikus from our prior discussions as examples:

I talk to the wind
time to say goodbye my dear
the wind does not hear

(by Scott Williamson in 'Goodbye and Wind')

OR -

c'mon and touch me
can't you see I'm not afraid
c'mon touch me babe

there's a place for us...
hold my hand i'll take you there
it's waiting somewhere

and for my mother

she passed away this morning

may she rest in peace

Oh, M! I'm so very sorry.

sailing far from shore
bound for a new port of call
she fades from our view

yet in that moment
God sees her sails and smiling
guides her safely home

dancing in your arms
i'll love you my dream come true
always forever

each moment with you
Is just like a dream to me
that somehow came true
great lyrics A

To My Great Love:

if i had you near
could i ever want for more
it's impossible

shower the people
with love and understanding...
life will be better

shower the people

you'll feel better right away

they say rain must fall

Thanks A -  I needed that !

this life is harder
than i ever imagined...
love is still the balm

Sending love and hugs your way, M.  I know this is a difficult time.

To My Darling~

please wish strong enough
'cause wishing will make it so...
our dreams will come true

the wise understand...
the winds of life buffet us
the weathervane spins
