After a year and a half on here, I decided finally to thumb through all of my albums and pick out some titles/artists who might not come to mind right offhand.

Here is a cool album from about 1975 that I found in a (what else?) bargain bin - and the best cut.

Who's the Captain - Cheryl Dilcher

Or maybe this?

All right, now this was too freaky. I got in my car the other morning to start my road trip to Chicago, and when I turned the ignition, this was the song that was playing on the radio. (And you thought Norman Greenbaum was just a one-hit wonder.)

The Eggplant That Ate Chicago - Dr. West's Medicine Show and Junk Band

Keep your eyes peeled, Jake.

Whack a doo. Whack a doo.
A song my mom would sing.

Great trio from the Windy City.

In the Woods - Bangor Flying Circus

Surprised I'm not familiar with them. :/
Here's one my daughter found that I'd never heard before. Strange indeed:
They're built for comfort - they ain't built for speed:)
Can't embed this one, but still felt a need to post

Time to share. Kevin Ayers of Soft Machine fame.

Here's the one I've looked for. Today is the day. Wrote for Syd Barrett by Kevin Ayers. Enjoy
