it looks like we're winding down, and nobody bothered to open a discussion today, so i thought i'd just set up a thread for this month, and let whoever wanders in, whenever, post to it.  if our moderator wants to do something differently, you'll doubtless hear about it.

after realizing that i didn't need to move to MI, i'm going to Staunton, VA, the last week of this month, and thinking to plant myself there for the rest of my life.  no other roots yet, other than that's the home of the state's premier mental institution, altho' i've never (yet) been there.

the remnants of Independence Day week must be going slowly, since nobody's been here.  

yeah, i don't want to sign off tbd completely, but i realize that facecrack is taking over and all the follow-ons to TBD are slowly fading into oblivion.  still, i'm grateful for the people that Robyn's creation let me connect with, and i am glad to have that facecrack thingee so i don't lose track of my online friends completely.  

if nobody else starts in August, we can just sign off.  i'll be on the road that month.

Good morning Crystal!  So, you are living in a convection oven today?  It's a good thing I am not coming to PA because I am likely to get beat up with my cooler weather.  Oh wait....... that could be fun.  =)  Today will be overcast in Portland with a high of 74 degrees.

 

My lady is in Niagara Falls for the next few days so I have to be inventive when it comes to morning coffee.  I'll be thinking cool thoughts for you all today.

Good morning Cat, we have a French press but i am not good at boiling water.  LOL  No coffee delivery service sucks big time.

Good morning all

A rather cool day here at the coast....looks like they may have some rain,

I have done all that I came to do, and although it is sad to leave my ocean, I think I am ready to start home, will leave tomorrow morning....will take my time,

One more trip to the beach this afternoon, and perhaps a quick trip to the casino,  I have won a little money...is burning a hole in my pocket...LOL

Drinking starbucks and eating a scone right now, the coffee that Cyndie makes is pretty weak...I need strong, strong, strong

Well, Richard, mid to upper 90's here this week; and for this I am thankful. Bet you're cooler.

Hi RT!!!!!  Ummmm currently 70 with a high of 74.  It's sunny now so perfect weather for sunbathing and gardening.  Too bad I am not doing either.  LOL  Hope it cools down more for you.

Thally sorry the weather hasn't been better at the coast.  As I have mentioned it's Oregon's coldest summer in 17 years.  I doubt the weather will catch up to what it should be.

 

Safe travels to, I'll make sure the beach is still here the next trip you make.  How's that?

Richard, it really has been beautiful except for today, and actually it was sunny, sorta warm, yet the wind made it chilly tonight, we walked to dinner and back and it was darned right cold...

we have had a fabulous time, such fun

Aren't you sick of the heat Marty? It is making me grumpier than usual. Since you don't have class you should head to Pittsburgh where it is hopefully cooler.
