TBD

TBD on Ning

We made it up to 421 pages on TBD - it's too late to turn back now!

Again, the idea is to post as many song titles as you can think of for a given word - tho good etiquette counsels that you not "run the category" all at once. Give other people a chance to think and post - and dig down deep into those obscurities in your music collection. And don't switch too soon - just because *you* can't think of another title doesn't mean there's not (say) a Klezmer Klassic running through somebody else's head.

I'll include the carryover list of words we've done in the next post.

I was going to post Cracker's cover but found the original.

Ike Reilly - Duty Free

When You're a Free Man - The Moody Blues

I was looking for the Chic original - and ran across this hauntingly beautiful rendition (with images to match) by the legendary Robert Wyatt.

At Last I Am Free

Find the Cost of Freedom - Crosby, Stills & Nash

I Just Want to Be Free - Chicago

Nah, we're not gonna let it stop at 499!:)

Free Will - Rush

So let's kick off the next 500 posts with a fresh start - SHIFT TO "WILL"!

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow - The Shirelles

Greetings from Tampa! If only it were a vacation ...

He Will Break Your Heart - Jerry Butler

Will You Be Staying After Sunday - Peppermint Rainbow

Time Will Tell - Bob Marley
A fabulous song written by the criminally overlooked Emitt Rhodes, leader of the California band The Merry-Go-Round, covered (improbably) by the early Fairport Convention, featuring Ian Matthews on vocals and a 17-year-old Richard Thompson on lead guitar (and, no, that's not Sandy Denny on second vocal - it's her predecessor, Judy Dyble).

Time Will Show the Wiser - The Merry-Go-Round

Time Will Show the Wiser - Fairport Convention
