About Me:: I'm an artist and transplant from the South (Florida, Georgia, Texas) I teach film theory and German and I am happily partnered with an introverted chess player. My Dad was from Chicago (A Czech from Berwyn). I return periodically to say Yak se mac to my relatives. My Mom is a native Texan and fabulous painter. I love to travel. I've lived in Japan, Australia, Munich and traveled around New Zealand, Mexico, Asia and most of Europe. I garden, do photography and work on mixed media artistic projects (everything from fiber to mosaics, painting to sculpture. I love camping and hiking but my spousal unit loves the quiet contemplative life at home. I'm always up for a polite and stimulating political or philosophical discussion!
