Keep your gadgets at least 6 inches away from your implant, 8 inches to be extra safe. Apple and Android devices - cellphones, earbuds, smartwatches, laptops, any tech with magnets or wireless charging coils can cause interference with lifesaving implants.

Please share with someone you know who has a pacemaker, defibrillator, etc. or who loves someone who has one.
My best friends' DIL has a pacemaker and LPac. She's been having problems and doctors have not figured out why. I sent my friend's DIL this info which might explain why things aren't working as they should for her. Hope this helps someone.

I have had a pace maker for 7 years and this was one of the hardest things to remember to do. Be sure and google all the electronic and electrical devices that can interfere with your pacemaker. Electric blankets, electric heating pads, foot saunas, etc. I always use my phone with the speaker on so that I can hold it farther away from me.
