A screw up you did

I found this question on another site and thought maybe we'd find something interesting.  I talk so much that it always comes out of my mouth, but then there was the day there was no hiding for what i pulled.  You always have to be very careful when there's multiple people emailed on one email.  Well, i wanted to send one to the boss, who was a crook and tell him what was going on.  I emailed other folks in the office that already knew what I was going to say but our seller client found out with that email.  She had laid into me really good about us not settling if we were cash buyers.  That's a long story for another day.  Anyway, I tell him, very politely that he was a lying, stealing crook.  Client killed the deal which she had every right to because she get her promised settlement date.  Then I told him if he got lucky I'll come back tomorrow, but he wasn't sure.  He called me multiple times that evening and I showed up at work.

I think I always admitted to my mistakes and would certainly never let someone else take the blame.
