Seeing my grandson born, just as the sun rose in the window.

That's so sweet Lynn.

2 weeks after my parents' death...I sat on the top of Mt.Erie off the coast of Washington State and watched the sun go down. It was just the 3 of us...myself and my son and daughter.....and as the last rays of sun peeked out from behind a dark cloud....somewhere on that mountain a lone trumpet started blowing. It was like my dad was sending me a message. "All is well."

Karin, did your parents die at the same time, or very close together? How fascinating that you experienced something that probably eased your grief and comforted you.

Probably having the one I believe in watching over me all my life. But...on second thought.. that's not magic it's better.

Two things: The way my husband and I finally started our relationship after having admired him for years. And how I got to meet and ultimately become good friends with the entertainer who's voice captivated me from the moment I heard it. Both of those stories are incredible and have psychic elements.

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child—our own two eyes. All is a miracle.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh,

"To be alive, to be able to see, to walk, to have houses, music, paintings—it’s all a miracle." —Arthur Rubinstein
