TBD on Ning

Seems only natural, no? Has anyone else wondered about the Sample Title thing?

I think it is interesting. I assumed that it was the title that was put in when setting up the page, and that it wasn't as easy to change as someone thought it would be. Frankly, I kind of like it. I think imperfections give a place a human touch, like odd architectural details that you have to work around.
Pru, I have some prime land to sell you just a few miles east of Atlantic City. I can send you a sample in a jar.

Lifes to short, don't be concerned.
Well Bull, I'm not actually concerned. But B A F is perplexed, Pru is afraid, Kain is interested and monkeypants is not the only one.
Yes, Kain, you appreciate wabi-sabi.
I am indeed a wabi-sabi woman.
I like to think that I see beauty in imperfection.
There's a wonderful book "Wabi-Sabi: for Artists, Designers, Poets & Philosophers" by Leonard Koren. We discussed this in the Japan group on TBD. I guess TBD is an example now of the ephemeral, no?

Ah, the mysteries deepen...
Huh?!? It is a dance, right? What are these other people talking about? Oh no, wait - that's the Watusi!
Maybe I should have named my discussion "Perplexing Title". Go to the Forum page (just click on the tab above). Then click on any discussion. Look what it says up in the header. Should alleviate your perplexity...
Ok. Pay close attention because I'm only going to say this once and you can be damn sure it will be on the test.
Click on the "Forum" tab. Then click on one of the discussion, say for example "Not so much anymore". In the yellow header region you can see this:
"Posted by Prunella Farquar on July 26, 2009 at 4:37pm in Sample Title"
To which I say, "Huh?" What the heck is "Sample Title"? Then click on Sample Title, to be further perplexed.
Very Zen.
Brian, can't you be more specific?
