I hope it is Kooner. It is an amazing show.  Start with season 1 and you will go on to the others I guarantee it.

THIS PREMIER EPISODE FOCUSES ON CARL AND HIS DEALING WITH WHAT JUST HAPPENED.  ALSO FEATURES MISHONNE AND HOW SHE DEALS WITH THE AFTERMATH OF THE ATTACK BY THE GOVERNOR AND THE DESTRUCTION OF THE PRISON.   EMMY WINNING ACTING.   I BELIEVE THIS IS SCI-FI AT ITS BEST. AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE HAPPENS. WHAT HAPPENS TO THE HUMAN CONDITION? CAN YOU RETAIN YOUR HUMANITY?

I wonder why the zombies seem to mostly leave Michonne alone?  (Even when she doesn't have any "leashed up".)  Did they ever explain that last season?

No,  She needed her pets to get by them.  In this episode she is practically catatonic from shock and giving up.  It takes the Zombies a minute to realize she is not one of them.  That's my explanation. Also she can be very quiet and almost stealth like when she needs to.

If you watched this episode do you think Carl gave an amazing performance?  On The Talking Dead after the show they put out that Carl was having a typical teen episode of talking back to his father. Carl held in his emotions for so long. As a teen his first instinct was to yell at Rick and tell him how he failed.  He is a little cocky because he has managed to stay alive. Until his antics almost gets him killed.  He really does need his father. He cannot survive alone.

OK. Stop it ladies, you all are breaking my heart. I don't have cable and I can't watch "The Walking Dead" like I use to. That $96+ a month was turning me in to a  Zombie. :-)

And you know what else is heartbreaking and scary? The cable rates for a lot of people are prob. gonna go up even more since comcast just bought time/warner cable. (Why the hell do these mega-corp's insist on playing king of the hill with ea other like 10 yr old kids all the time instead of just doing their jobs?!)

Sorry Dragao,  Try to catch it on the AMC.com page. They may run the episodes a day or so after broadcast.  I make my hubby pay , I need to watch The Walking Dead and True Blood.  There will be a new show on AMC about the first spies during the Revolutionary War that looks interesting.  We don't go to the movies too much and we quit gambling so I figure we can still pay for cable. But then I started getting my SS last year at age of 62 so I figure I am contributing to it.

Pretty funny.

Kooner, I think there is only one more season and that is the end.  I've read all the books most before the series and will miss True Blood too.

On The Walking Dead this past Sunday.  I was an emotional wreck by the end of the episode.  I wish you all could watch it because it is a show worth discussing.  I hate it that cable is so expensive so many people had to give it up. We have gone back and forth. We tried Dish while living in Nevada.  Still expensive.  Sad because cable channels have some very interesting original programming.
