HI EVERYONE. I'VE NOTICED A LOT OF GROUPS ARE NOT TO ACTIVE BUT IT ALWAYS HAPPENS IN THE "GOOD OLE SUMMERTIME". I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN MORE GROUPS BUT MOST ALL OF THEM SAY THE SAME. NEED A INVITE TO JOIN. IF I HAVE NO INVITE I COULD START A GROUP, NOT WANT I WANT TO DO I WANT TO JOIN.IT'S CRAZY TO NOT BE ABLE TO JOIN WITHOUT AN INVITE , HOW DO I GET THE INVITE??WHO KNOWS WHAT GROUPS I WANT TO JOIN???? LOL. JUST SAYING~

"Aggie, Longhorns and Everything Texas" Is open a group for all Texans and those who would to rather be in Texas.

We talk a lot about Texas, Texas humor, Texas events and prune kolaches.

I agree, crissy; it's frustrating; there's a cancer group I'd really like to join but it's by invitation only; I sent a request to join; have heard nothing; I see the gal who's in charge of the group is still an active tbd member; so I try to send her a msg. but she won't accept msgs. from anyone but friends, gotta send her a friend request, so I did, no response.

I hope all these groups getting harder & harder to join & not hearing back from members is not a sign that the site's in trouble but I do wonder...

If you go to click on your favorite group and find that it is inaccessible, it is because there is no moderator for that group.  Most of the groups on this site were abandoned by their creators long ago and there are not enough administrators on this site to monitor a hundred groups.  Therefore, quite a few very good groups have gone into limbo.

If you are interested in restarting one of the topics and being moderator to that group, please contact EddieDingo via personal message.

Many members still have a profile here, but have not been active in years.  There are almost no groups that are by invitation only...if you get that message it means that group is closed and has been closed for over a year.  The groups have not been deleted because the content still belongs to the posters and cannot be deleted without their permission.  You are welcome to start a new group on the same subject, but must agree to moderate the discussions.
