. . . . Please forget Stallone's "Judge Dredd" (1995), that movie was a sanitized version of the comic. I just watched Karl Urban's "Dredd" and this movie gets it right.
Wow. I thought liked the 1995 version. Looks like Hollywood was trying to brain wash me. In this new and improved version, Dredd is more bad ass, he does not show his human side and the helmet never ever comes off.
Like this Dredd, I would like to see more. Houston is not quite Mega-City (yet) but we could use a guy like Dredd down here in Texas :-)
Hummm, who would you prefer Dredd or Batman?

Can I pick Sheriff Walt Longmire instead?
OK I guess. I've never watched "Longmire" ( don't have cable anymore). Does Longmire have any high tech crime fighting gadgets?
I have a strange feeling that your request is a "woman thing". :-)
Nope, no hi-tech gadgets for Longmire; he doesn't even own a cell phone, always borrowing everybody else's, lol. But it's a good show with good acting & writing; even my Hubby likes it too. ;-)
Yep (as he'd say, lol), the show & the books are set in Wy. and I think that's where all or most of the show is filmed.
Huh, I thought I remembered--maybe it's just in the books--Sheriff Longmire participating in a few peyote cermonies so you wouldn't think they'd be coming down very hard on mj but go figure.
