Beautiful Spring Day
Is everyone enjoying the beautiful spring day? Me and the baby went out for a while and walked up through town and stopped at the Farmers Market on Main St. I talked to the guy that owns a couple restaurants in town. He's known us since my kids were all little. Just beautiful out today. How about everyone else?

Two of my friends from my senior group took me to south Maryland today.....over the 301 toll bridge.....to Waldorf, where we went to Dr. Samuel Mudd's house. On the way we stopped at the visitors center and got some pamphlets, and found a bakery, where we bought some treats. On the way back, we stopped at a 200 yr-old church and looked at headstones in the churchyard, browsed through a charming antique store, and shared a picnic lunch back at the visitors center before returning home. A beautiful ride, wonderful company, and good food. What more can one ask for?

Yeah, being by the wide end of the Potomac was nice......but it would've been much better if I'd been at the ocean.
