It isn't funny at all, my ex stalked me for 3 years, when I had to go to court my attorney would get threatening calls and wanted me to hire a body guard for him to represent me. I had to have a paid mail box for years so he couldn't know where I lived. His attorney went to the judge to try to get that info for him, luckily the judge had copies of some of the threats sent to my attorneys. My ex was a pure sociopath, he could make people believe he was innocent and charm them, they were so surprised to listen to some recorded phone conversations. There are some sick people out there that believe if they can't have what they want they won't let someone else have it either. I feel lucky and grateful to be alive.

I guess this goes on a lot . Guess cyber bullying would be up there also . It took me 3 years to get over my X leaving . For a long time when i would see her driving with a man it really pissed me off but i kept that with me and left her alone ....

Yes. But it was an obscene phone caller who knew my name and knew when my ex husband left the house because he would call within 10 minutes of his departure. I know he was following me or watching the house. I also think I know who it was--he worked for a friend's real estate firm. When I finally had other people pick up the phone for about two weeks, he stopped calling. This was before the days of caller id. My children were still young.

Once i caught my youngest daughter and her girl friend picking random phone calls from phone book . I went into their room . Picked up the bed with her friend on it and pulled the cord right out of the wall . Once one of her boyfriend called and i wouldn't let her talk to him . He threatened me by saying I'll come to your house and burn it down .

yeah i was and i agree its not funny .. i think its worse for a woman because a man can usually overpower a woman but a stalker always has that element of surprise .. and thats the scary thing .. you don't know if they're gonna jump outta the bushes with a knife or a gun .. they say hell has no fury like a woman scorned and that might be true .. so i try to stay on the friendly side with almost all my ex's .. but not too friendly because that can give the wrong message too ..

Years ago, after I was divorced, there were a couple of men who knew me and my ex and they did some really stupid things to get my attention and kept at it for a while. I knew who they were, but was still quite unsettling. I ended up getting the police involved. I told them both I had a gun and would use it...I didn't but they believed me or realized they were being assholes and quit. I dunno.
There have been a few men on the net who sent me naked pics of themselves and others and nasty emails with threats...I have always just made some smart ass remarks and then ignored them ..they usually go away.

aww come on vic my emails weren't all that nasty .. and i thought you liked them naked pics of me ? touchy touchy touchy .. ok .. i'm kiddin .. i just couldn't resist .. its that imp in me .. little bastard just comes out sometimes ..
