they got a lot of this right...and some wrong...depends on where you stand... i've seldom seen anyone get history very right because the why of things happening is always bigger than their vision so they miss the big picture,the whole rolling snowball of momentum and timing and what came before and what x led to and what that leads to...

yeah they got a lot of it right i thought too .. but you have to remember its the story told from different perspectives .. so a snipet here and a snipet there ..i'm sure if you had them all in the same room together some may have disagreed about some things .. but for the most part i think they got the spirit of the whole thing as accurate as they could commin from all the different perspectives .. david geffen was at first a manager and then later a record co. owner .. so his memory was more focused on the business end of things and how it effected him . the eagles just had a special on ..was it showtime i think ?? i dunno cause i ain't seen it yet .. but they say its as accurate as could be .. but don felder who was there for most of it says uh uh .. partly true .. but they rewrote history to suit them .. i don't know if randy meisner or bernie leadon had anything to say about it too but i'd love to hear their perspectives too .. it might be closer to felders but maybe not exactly ..shit i'll bet even henley and frey wouldn't agree on everything ..and they frequently didn't..there will always be someone else with another point of view .. i think its best to listen to em all and make up your own mind ..

I have to wait until my old man vacates the TV room because that's where my computer is. I can't listen to anything because he is a TV hog and he's proud of it!
