It might be fun and interesting to do a variation on Rishi's "Une Lingne Donne" discussion in which three participants will each write a full haiku (rather than a single line) that will end up telling a cohesive haiku "story."
The first person will write a haiku. The second person will hit "reply" to that haiku, copy and paste it in the reply box, then add his or her own haiku. The third person will hit "reply" to the second offering, copy and paste the first two haiku, then add the third and final haiku.
Three haiku for each completed "story" sounds good to me because it gives the opportunity for a beginning, middle, and end.
I'll begin...

life's joy returning
broken heart resurrected
all because of you
comfort can be found
in unusual places
there for the seeker
life's joy returning
broken heart resurrected
all because of you
comfort can be found
in unusual places
there for the seeker
seek and ye shall find
behind every hidden door
you wait, arms outstretched
miracles of joy
unexpected renewal
all things possible
miracles of joy
unexpected renewal
all things possible
bright and beautiful
the future lies before us
golden thoroughfare
brittle cold winds howl
warm breath on windowpane
marks of exhaled love
brittle cold winds howl
warm breath on windowpane
marks of exhaled love
crumpled couch cushions
a long lost scent stirs senses
memories arouse
brittle cold winds howl
warm breath on chilled windowpanes
marks of exhaled love
crumpled couch cushions
a long lost scent stirs senses
memories aroused
i dream of your touch
your strong arms enfolding me
quiet as the snow
heavy snow enters
winds blow strong from the northwest
hunker down for while
heavy snow enters
winds blow strong from the northwest
hunker down for while
time for cuddling
warm before the roaring fire
while the storm rages
