Just wondering if any of you are soap opera fans? If not, what do you think about them?. I noticed ABC will be cancelling One life to live & All my Childern. 

I think I was a sophmore in high school the first time I saw All my children..I watched it on & off for years & still catch a episode now & then even-though I am not a big Tv person anymore. 

 

Susan (Erica) finally got her emmy..Remember that?...Well maybe not...anyway.....I guess the end of an era is upon us........I grew up with those two shows on the air. Just happened to have the Tv on last week & Oprah had all of Erica Canes boyfriends & husbands from the time she was with Phil Brent on the show........

Anyway......Change is good......

MISTAKE:......I never watched this show when I was a sophomore in school..It didn't start till the 1970's  I graduated in 1969. Funny I thought I remembered coming home from school watching it....See how the mind can screw things up after years go by.....:)

I remember Dr. Brewer...He was nice looking & had a pretty wife...didnt they all? Mudball sounds like a barrel of fun...I wanted to be a tomboy, but mother & father made me wear dresses & seems like I was always supposed to stay clean. After Dad left us all hell broke lose.....Give me some dirt fella.

I watched Dark Shadows ( late sixties ) and Days of Our Lives occasionally. The intrigue, back-stabbing, and over-dramatization....remember Kayla and Patch?

One of the cable channels ran reruns of Dark Shawdows a few years ago. It was sooooooo bad. And, the sets looked like they were made of cardboard, if someone closed a door the pictures on the walls moved ;-))

So funny Quinn..I think I tuned into a dark shadows during that time & thought to myself.... Wasn't it better than this? In the old days?  I dont remember Kayla & Patch, but dark shadows was not one I tuned into but once or twice in a blue moon.

Yeah..I remember seeing them, but they looked older to me when I was their age..now they look young....:}
