I make a resolution not to make a resolution. That way I won't be disappointed.
I did very well...I didn't smoke any cigars, I didn't eat grits, and I didn't vacation in Nebraska. I almost was nice once, but stopped myself just in time...
Seriously...I thought I made some easy ones---to lose ten pounds, to spend more time with my only remaining Aunt, and to watch less television. I adhered to one of the three :(
What resolution did you stick with Michael?
Quinn, the only one I kept was to keep my GPA to at least a 3.5, which I did.
That's pretty impressive Michael...good for you.
I didn't make any resolutions for this year. I can't ever recall making any. I guess it turned out to be a pretty good year over all, without me resolving to make it so.
These weren't planned "New Year's Resolutions," but last year I was committed to regaining my health after a long tough journey w/an undiagnosed auto-immune disease. It was a longer row to hoe than I expected, and there were lots of setbacks, but my commitment & efforts never waned, and that's all I had control over.
This year I committed to becoming more fit & losing weight. I've lost 30 pounds & have worked out pretty regularly. I'm more fit than I've been in years.
The upcoming year... I plan to continue my fitness & weight loss quest, but I want to focus on "cleaning house," figuratively & literally; getting on top of things.... clutter, finances, home, yard. I guess what I want to do is shape up & be responsible in a well rounded way. You guys wish me luck, please!
Wow, what a great set of goals you have d's girl. If you do it all I will buy you a shirt with a big S on it for "super girl"
