For whatever reason your world has been unexoectedly turned upside down, never to be the same again.
You must sort through ALL your possessions, pictures, keepsakes, tools, kitchen stuff, clothes, books.....every tangible thing that has defined your life to the world and vacate your residence in two days.
The boxes are of finite sizes.......you can't keep everything.....say two boxes that would fit in the back of a six foot bed pick-up. Where do you start...what would you keep...what's really important?

I suppose I'll need to start with those two darn cats, Jacques Young and Monae Young, and then maybe throw in some socks and underwear and a few Rolling Stones vinyl albums, and a couple of old Penthouse magazines from the attic.
Remember, Q......fish, guests and Alan Stir start smelling after three days! ;-0
I'm thinking on this. In the meantime, Ducatiman & I have been embracing the philosophy of Sarah Susanka's "the not so big house" & "the not so big life" for the last couple of years, and have actually made great steps toward achieving it. He happened upon this the other day & emailed it to me. Wait for it - this guy has created a home in 420 square feet that includes room for a home office, a sit down dinner for 10, room for guests, & kite surfing gear.
