TBD

TBD on Ning

Here's the deal...I do a great deal on wondering about stuff.  Sometimes I actually wonder about myself and why I do the things I do....like:

Procrastinate the hell out of paying bills.

Wait till I'm beyond hungry to cook supper and then don't really want to eat it.

Dread hearing from my youngest son...who has bi-polar disorder, btw.

Dream about my ex more now than I  did for the 30yrs we were together.

Take some of the stupid superfluous personalities on line seriously.

Prefer the company of my kitties to forging friendships with real people in my real everyday life.

Work in the medical field yet am a terrible patient.

Why do I leave the dishes in the sink when the dishwasher has a sign saying "fill me up?"
Why do I put off the vacuuming and then can't invite anyone in?
Several of the above, plus...

Why do I wait for the gauge to go into the red zone before I buy gas?

Why do I think the price of gas will go down if I wait another week to buy it? (Though this week it is true.)
My brothers have run out of gas more than anyone I've ever known...
My Son is notorious for running on empty. The ladies have no monopoly on this one!
Doesn't everyone wait?
Why would you get gas if you have a half tank?
Yeah. And I like to see how far I can go on a tank... heh.

But I haven't run out of gas since '73, so I guess I have it down to a gnat's eyebrow.

(I like to pretend I'm a ditz, but I just don't have the guts to go all the way. I may procrastinate, but I always come through just in time.)
Why is it that you always have to enter your “account number”, but 4 minutes later when you speak to a human they ask you for your account number anyway???
So they can write it down in their little black book and steal your identity later.
Ooohhh..... that makes me crazy, Quinn, & I tell the customer svc. person about it every time. They don't care, which is even more annoying. :-p
Why do I or anyone else for that matter, think that when you call customer service at any large business like a bank or retail store, that they really care about your problems and really want to help? Most of 'em can barely speak english or comprehend what you're saying...
It's been my experience that a lot of the customer service has been off-shored to India.
In fact, there is a new comedy on the fall television schedule about such a call center.
Many large corporations really don't want to spend much money one customer service.
My daughter worked on a Microsoft help line once and although she enjoyed the work and felt like she did a good job, none of the people doing that work were company employees. They were all temps working through an employment agency.
I wonder why some people continue to believe things that aren't true even after repeated reports of the deceit??
