I think you are right Michael and this is the key I have been missing for some of tunes in my head. They are too structured for the guitar and I too must use both. I felt that tonight while playing. The most wonderful thing though was that I felt the joy of a 5 year old again while I was listening to what my fingers were doing. Piano was my first love, along with art, but I had one of those piano teachers for my last few years who rapped knuckles with a stick if you changed a note. No freedom, it was like typing, so I quit. Guitar was just something I did from the heart and I always used it to write. I think I have finally forgotten the lessons and have a much better shot at being a decent piano player now, working on my first song with lyrics on it. I am amazed at some of the things my hands remember that my mind has forgotten. I'm not sure I could even play by reading music and I don't think I want to try to learn again yet. I am having way too much fun like this. :)

Thank You Go, Glad to hear You're gearing up the KEYS again. I find I need both (Piano and Guitar) for exorcising various voices awakened in My skull. Keys seem good for formulaic rational (mathematic) canvas while My Guit is for the most part 'right hemisphere' right from the gut stuff. It also helps to actually feel the wood vibrate at My fingertips. So enjoy playing, I'm tickled I inspired You and I would LOVE to hear spome of Your works. All My Best, Michael.

I could hear it Michael and I really enjoyed it. There are parts that remind me of Hayward, Lodge of the Moody Blues, and Lennon. This is also cool to hear now because I just played my keyboard for first time since I hung photo of John Lennon above it. Really got into it, just letting the music flow and playing by ear. I am thinking tonight about how much I love it for composing but it has been years since I played, since I went totally to guitar at 13. Music is one of most beautiful gifts we have been given. Truly a joyful blessing. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me to return to my piano again tonight with a smile.

Hi Tina. thanks for the comments. could You here the music? it's a rather big file (10 MBs) & takes a while to load. and the tune itself is about 10 minutes so it's not really for those in a hurry. lol. thanks again, MJM.

This is beautiful, and it sounds as though someone (the writer maybe) has some continued searching to do!
Thank you for the read Michael
