TBD on Ning

sophy's tears

once if ever elusive

lovely sophy in chains

for ten thousand smiles

she is so removed

all for the love of fear

pearls as sand through a deuced sieve

so much for golden rain

long pour simile

the word that you choose

is more than meets the ear

great deceivers stand confused

we thank the light of day

lone portion denied

she remains aloof

beyond repute revered

thus spoke zeus imperatives

perchance keep night contained

danaë's yinful wiles

nectar in the bloom

fruition a blind seer

stating clearly what truth is

yet what proof of its gain

love itself on trial

what have we accrued

a bed of ample tears

Thank You Tina.
Gave Me a giggle with the book idea.
Have to give that some thought.
Poetry is a pretty sure money loser
but in this day and age
of print as You go,
whatawegot to lose?

AND caseyjo,
I am doing well aside from family dramas,
but they are nothing that can't be dealt with.
It does seem We have tread similar paths.
Kinda hit a chord with the rebel.
But I took it to the degree
that I now consider
any further joy I encounter,
gratis of borrowed time.

I don't know if either of You
would be interested ~
but a little while back
I recorded playing guitar
as a lullaby for the Gkids.
Recently I made it into a site.

So if You wanna be lulled to sleep,
check it out,
and let Me know
how it worked out for You tomorrow.

Yes, Yes Lock her away
For surely harm shall come of all that will never be....

UGH...and such is the human mind on it's very edge.

Michael, Do tell when the book is published, I should like to have a copy! Hugs

OOPs...I forgot to ask how you are doing besides the crazy weather out there?
Comment by caseyjo on March 28, 2010 at 11:59pm
Hi Michael..It's raining here in Florida...I have been working in my yard for days......Just about had it finished when the rain came pouring down...Great for my 5 baby tomato plants...They are doing great.

I am a dummy when it comes to the Gods, I don't even know much about the one most people I know use to better their lives...I don't know much, but seems to me these gods seem to bring forth a lot of fear and havoc instead of love and kindness in a lot of people ....Could possibly be it's not the Gods at all, but just the human understanding of them is just too human......I am just a simple girl trying to get a grip on this strange life....Thanks for explaing the story...I shall have to read it some day...it sounds interesting.

I like your writing...It makes me think even though sometimes I may be off bat....I spent a life of rebellion instead of study...so now I try to make up for lost time.

I am a good pupil for certain teachers out there though....I have a good curious mind.

humph.
hey caseyjo,
how have You been?
We're getting some more
crazy precipitation again
here in south jersey.

I am familiar with the Soraya story.
heartwrenching.
I guess the lesson is on a loop
until we start to catch on.
I was originally contemplating a theme
expounding upon the waste of wisdom.
then this thing evidently took on a life of its own
and turned into a parable of perseus' mom.

her father locked her away
because he was told
his grandchild would kill him.

so of course leave it to zeus
to have his way
and knock her up.

the principles of the feminine
are so underutilized
in humanities coming of age.

comeuppance in the wings, stage left.
And,
thanks for giving it a read
and the time to comment.
hope all is well by You.

Reminds me of a movie I recently watched....The stoning of Soraya M.
