Comment by Baia on January 22, 2010 at 10:18pm: I'm still here. I don't expect TBD to be my everything, but I do enjoy my little niche in the Wall of Gratitude and I like to drop in on the front page occasionally to see who is still here.
Gary Freeman and I are bobbing around on a raft in another group talking about the weather since November when everyone else jumped ship in Venice. Can't tell how long that will last, but I suspect the raft is about ready to sink.
Wait! Is that a metropolitan skyline there emerging from the mist? I do believe rescue is at hand....

I tried being a surfer, but the board flew up and smacked me in the face...Tried to be a greaser, but I was just to sweet looking in the gang colors...tried to be a biker, but didn't know the difference between a pan head and a shovel, or a knuckle , tried to be a low rider but I couldn't get the walk right, tried to be a hippie, but didn't like pot....That about says it...I was a straight out dork....Now I just wing it.

High School 'cliques'.
there were the 'RaRas' (jocks),
The G wingers (music nerds),
names ad innausiatum.
There was about 8 of us
that 'fit in' no where.

We discovered this one day
when We discovered
why We were hanging out
with eachother.

We took on the unhappy moniker of "FREAKS".
but that was the 70's
& I guess We lived up to it proudly.

anyway, it's good to know You're there.

I learned a lesson..I have only been blogging about a year I think, I still have a lot to learn..BTW...I am a loner on here. I do not try to develop a fan base and there are not certain people I back up around here and I am not part of the in-crowd, nor do I want to be.....K
