My two teen-age kids are the joys of my life. We live just outside of Chicago.

Interests: My children, my friends, my kitchen, my garden. Free-spirit travel; I love to explore -- places near and far. Writing, editing, the trade magazine industry.

I'm here for meeting new people, networking, support -- and simple fun. :) You'll often find me on the "widowed" boards, as I lost my husband fairly recently (January 2009).
