Do you bake from scratch or from a box???
What's your culinary skill level on a scale of 1-10?
Out of necessity I'm learning to cook and really enjoying it...especially baking. Send tips or recipes
BTW I made the cake below.....cream cheese pound cake
This is now Bob Stepp's recipe exchange.....share your secrets!!!! not off the back of a Betty Crocker box!!

Me too PA :)
I am a good cook, but a lousy baker. I think baking requires more precision than cooking does.
When a cake recipe says, " One cup of flour", it means ONE CUP, not "one cup give or take"...
If a Beef Stroganoff recipe says, "One cup of sour cream" and you add a little bit more, it still works.
I like to cook, I love experimenting and trying different things.
I make dinner almost every night.
Weekends, especially in the winter, are usually spent entertaining friends with a great meal.
Me 3, Q & P.A. :)
I find that most people are either cooks or bakers, but seldom is one person passionate about both.
I'm w/you, Quinn, I like to cook & experiment. That's exactly why I shared those 2 "recipes" here today;
I was experimenting both times, and they both came out great, so I wanted to pass them along.
I fall into the cook category. Baking, not so much.
omg - I should make these corn muffins w/diced green chiles & cheddar cheese at the Largo Meetup - they are awesome!!
YUM!!
