With all politics aside, President Obama is easily the coolest president we've ever had.  He doesn't seem larger than life to me....he's one of us, and he made it to the top, and that's part of the American dream.  I'd love to be able to hang with him for a day.  Its great that you got to meet him, Q.....I'm envious!

I met Bill Russell when I was in college - he was doing an inspirational lecture tour or something like that. Couldn't have been more than 50 people or so, everyone was just captivated by how engaging and insightful he was. Even if you weren't a sports fan you could appreciate just how damn intense he was. He talked about dreading facing Wilt Chamberlain, the unbelievable pressure of performing at such a high level night after night, the amphetamines needed to keep you going....and when I shook his hand I felt like I had freakin' baby fingers.
