Our time's coming.....its warming up enough for us to get freezing rain now, instead of just snow.

I had blooms on some trees i wanted to cut back, so before they could get too many more blooms & make me feel guilty as heck for cutting them back I went out & took about 4 feet off...The storms several years ago mangled them & they have never grown right since. I also cut all the stuff back that died during the cold weather..They say not to cut the dead stuff off plants right away..It protects the plants until the right time to cut them back & since our weather here in Fl. has been warm almost all month I decided the time was right.

so.... sharing w/you that today I got home from work & saw that one of the ornamental plums in my front yard has started blooming wouldn't do you any good, either then?

I have a few blooming butter cups and the red maples have buds that are swelling. That is if they did not get blown off today.
