I'm not "Fr" so and so...or "Sr" what's here name...or your Momma. So there is no fear of any social or religious repercussion on this one.
This is just a safe place to air those potential horrific or non-consequential choices you've made up to now.
Most of mine...minor and amusing, mostly to myself. Ted and Lola don't care.
Tonight I was making "Cowboy Caviar". It calls for the juice of one lime. I grabbed the large green thing from the bowl of whatnot...pears/lemons/tomatoes an a bunch of bananas.
I proceeded to roll the big green thing back and forth on the counter...not expecting it to explode under my hand....it was an avocado....:-/

Back when I was a teen-ager I loaded up the toothbrush one morning from a tube of Brylcream. Tasted like crap, but it kept my teeth in place all day.
Someone told me during the blurry hours of the morning she mistook the tube of "prep H" for toothpaste.....
tight gums and tight smile all day?
My fails have been epic in stature, walking through the emergancy door and there by triggering the alarm to get into City Market in Burlington during thier grand opening debue on TV. Did I mention it was live? And I gave the manager a heart attack????
Oh my...! Those darn camera crews! They probably have it on surveillance tape too ya know..;-)
One morning at work I bent down 3 times to pick up a shiny piece of something off the floor...it was a speck of sunshine. How I would have liked to put that in my pocket...:-)

Now there's a cheerful thought, sheesh, they could have given me a copy.
Today I noticed that the side view mirrors on my car...a red Toyota...are different colors. One is black, the other a faded red. I have owned this car for 6yrs!
I have always prided myself on being observant of my surroundings here in 'da hood....I know the difference between a backfire and a gunshot...apparently it's the finer details I'm lacking.
I refer to these things as "dumb@ss attacks". I usually have a dumb@ss attack of the week. '-)
This wasn't mine, so I guess I'm telling on someone, but...
we're both new to apt. living & there's a number of things to get used to that are quite different than living in a single family home.
Like taking the trash out. People in this community drive their trash to the one trash receptacle on the property. Ducatiman came home from work in quite a bad mood recently. He'd put the bag of trash in his trunk to drop it off on his way out to work in the a.m. Yep. He forgot to drop it off. It was a hot day. He said his car smelled soooo bad when he got in it to go home from work. I've decided putting the bag of trash on the hood of the car to drive it to the receptacle is a better option for me. Not that I won't drive out of the neighborhood like that, but I figure it'll reduce the chances.
