The story of a secret unit within the US Army called the First Earth Battalion, whose paranormal military ideas mutated over the decades to influence interrogation techniques at Guantanamo Bay.

Reporter Bob Wilton is in search of his next big story when he encounters Lyn Cassady, a shadowy figure who claims to be part of an experimental U.S. military unit. According to Cassady, the New Earth Army is changing the way wars are fought. A legion of "Warrior Monks" with unparalleled psychic powers can read the enemy's thoughts, pass through solid walls, and even kill a goat simply by staring at it. Now, the program's founder, Bill Django, has gone missing and Cassady's mission is to find him. Intrigued by his new acquaintance's far-fetched stories, Bob impulsively decides to tag along. When the pair tracks Django to a clandestine training camp run by renegade psychic Larry Hooper, the reporter is trapped in the middle of a grudge match between the forces of Django's New Earth Army and Hooper's personal militia of super soldiers. In order to survive this wild adventure, Bob will have to outwit an enemy he never thought possible.

Ok, I know you saw this---spill it young lady!!!!
I'm sorry--everytime I come back here and see the picture of the goat with the guns, I die laughing!
Anyway, right now, all I'll say is I stuck around a bit for the discussion after the movie and I realized that the movie wasn't well received by adults. The audience members that were more so in the late teens to mid twenties loved the movie. I guess due to some of the content in the movie that that was the reasoning. I would recommend this movie for anyone who wants a good laugh. Although at times the movie can be a bit ridiculous, it just makes the movie all the more funnier.
The pic is funny...
So, what did you think? You can tell us that much without spoilers can you? The trailers look goofy and when George tries to be funny he is campy.
I thought it was a fun movie, with many quotable lines and good acting by the entire cast. The story is very unique and the film uses that as a great advantage to itself in setting up the humor. The characters are very real and are taken to heart right away. The film is funny, intriguing, smart, witty, fast-paced, emotional, enjoyable and sometimes, inspirational. I highly recommend it to any Ewen McGregor, George Clooney, Kevin Spacey or Jeff Bridges fan.
The poster's look funnier than the trailer.
So not a Clooney fan.
The goat looks hilarious!
I could stare at Clooney ANYTIME!!!!
