you know cynthia, i'm not that fond of big government, but you know what i have more of a distaste for? big businesses controlling our government and our lives. if you truly do not think that is the case so be it. but who lines our senators pockets? lobbyists. who is controlling much of the media on the healthcare issue? insurance lobbyists. they are greedy, and you are willfully playing into their hands.
i, for one, am not afraid to hear a differing opinion, but there needs to be some facts to back it up - and not homemade youtube videos toolmakr. have you actually read up on what is actually being proposed?
please go to this website, if you are brave enough, as you said, http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck/ read what is up, then form your opinions, which you are entitled to.
and you obviously have no idea how insurance companies operate. i guess it is better, in your opinion, to let bigwigs, who are out for a profit, to control our healthcare. that is, but not limited to, control how long a doctor can spend with a patient, what treatments one can receive, what meds a person can receive, what doctor a person can see, what hospital a person can use... the list goes on. and yes, they can drop you like a hot potato if they think they might have to pay out too much. if you like that, it is your prerogative.

Our government is getting so big that they can't take care of what needs to be done now .
SS is going broke medivare and Medicare and Medicaid are going. Broke. Cash for clunkers came up short we have bailed out a car company that
Needed and did file bankruptcy yet you want the government to control something so imporant as our health care. I don't think so and more and more people are seeing it that way..
What does cause concern is when the drug companies put up money for the health care bill they are putting up a million in add campaigns
Torte needs to take place example a women has her uterus removed donates it for study she finds out the UK was written on what was her uterus ,she is now airing the Dr and the hospital cause she doesn't like UK.everytime a Dr or hospital has to fight this kind of thing it cost him money which in the long run cost us.
Any insurance company that gets caught cooking the books needs to lose their right to sell insurance and serve time.

More name calling. Can't somebody Sat that they are fearful without people saying that they are dumb idots or antoyee demeaning names.
I think torte reform should be the First thing done. I think that those who cheat the Medicare should go to jail not just fined I think illegals need to go back home and not receive free health care.

Boy, I'll bet Dr. Kavorkian would be lock-step on that issue. If the government is unable to deal with the Health insurance crisis, who do think WILL solve it. Big Business? WTF? The private sector has been sending us into the toilet for decades. Start with the Drug Companies. Poor Pfizer. God bless them. they can't make a dime to save their lives.

When are we going to get it people. It's really not about us. It's about business. We are a Capitalist nation. Hospitals, Drug Companies, insurance agencies, you name them. They are in the business of making money. HELLO. That's why the notion of some sort of free ride or low cost, non-profit venture won't work, Pfizer has more money than the U.S. government and more lobbyists to pay to keep things as they are. If you don't have the money to help your employees or if you are an employee who can't pay for health insurance, don't pay. Roll the dice. We're all going to die people. If you're a little ahead in the line, well, good for you.

Let me make myself clear. As the health care bill is now I don't want it. Our country does need reform in this matter but not by gorement controlled insurance. We need more ideas of ways to help lower costs.
Our government hasn't even been able to manage SS. We are going broke.
To many companies (mine will I have no doubt) will drop our insurance which is not cheap pay the fine and leave the employees having to hunt new insurance. Or taking. The government insurance . The government has no business in who lives our dies how they live and to how they die!

cynthia, healthy debate is one thing. joining a group that you do not agree with for the sole purpose of taunting like a child is another. if you have a point to make, please try doing it with a little more maturity. and cynthia, please try studying grammar and spelling. you aren't doing much for your cause. Cynthia, why don't you and Texas just secede? You can re-join Mexico. Too bad Davy Crockett et al helped TX join the USA. I mean Jesus Christ ZD was simply pointing out that the ads are slanted to the right as are you. What the hell is your problem? Why should political ads be slanted right? As ZenDog points out there must be a hidden agenda on the part of the programmers of the Google Analytics in this case.
