Why do you think a few of the conservative/republican/wingnuts migrated to this group? I believe there were only 3 or 4 of them in the conservative group and they got lonely for some intelligent debate. What is your opinion?

Gotta say George that I told you that someone would take you seriously. And you answered me very succinctly!
I must say, of the many stories I've written, that one has gotten the most response from some of my readers. Even people I don't know weren't sure about this tome. I think it just clarifies how seriously some people take this current event. An apology (of some sort) is in order. I thought everyone would get it. Apparently I was wrong. My bad. The idea that Pfizer would take the gold from people;s teeth to pay for the free aspirins they were supposedly handing out might have seemed a bit suspicious (at least to me) but some still persist that actually happened. Amazing really.

Uhm, just to clarify Maggie. I am the author of that Blog. That's why I shamelessly quote it. it enjoys a rather large following according to my Email list, but that's why it's there. Some people enjoy that style of humor. The fact that some people actually believe the stories to be true is worrisome at best, and laughable at worst. But thanks for pointing it out. LMAO

Jacquin you stated my point and you dont even relize it. Two I didnt say any thing about an auction I stated that a women was suing her dr and hospital because UK was written on what was her uterus after it was removed. She was suing cause she doesnt like UK (that was where it was being sent to for medical students to study) she like another school. As for a link I dont know where youd find it, the Dr is a friend of my daughter.

Cynthia, we all know the health care system is broken. We know it. You know it. I know it. The insurance companies are playing on your fear. Republican legislators are playing on your fear.
They each have their own reasons.
And the reason we bailed out car companies is because they couldn't sell cars, and that translated into several hundred thousands of jobs lost, with even more at risk. Why couldn't they sell cars? In part because the DEREGULATED banking industry created a loan scheme guarenteed to fail, and it did, putting lots of people out of their homes. It also dried up money available for lending, which meant that every company relying on loans to meet payroll couldn't, and so they laid off workers.
It's repelican policy. It doesn't work.
