TBD on Ning

I hope you all will take the time to see the Ken Burns series "The National Parks," which airs this next week on PBS. It's going to be wonderful I think, and we could all use the rejuvenation. I'm headed to Rocky Mountain National Park this week...thankfully.

This is one area where many people still come together in defense of the parks and the land. They are sure important to me.
I'll be watching! I've been waiting for more than a year to see this.

I'm lucky enough to live within 4 hours drive of three National Parks here in Washington state. It's sad to see the neglect the parks have suffered over the decades, but the beauty still shines through.
Yeah Mark, I've been seeing ads on Facebook for a long time now.
Mt. Tohoma (Rainier) is one of my favorite places. That and the Olympic Peninsula...Hoh rainforest.
I do not wish to interject politics into such a wonderful series but I have been reading many posts by tbd members on the right and they tell me that the government cannot run anything. So how could the national parks be a success. I guess I should ask them this. I think I do remember a Reagan era proposal to privatize many of them. How did that work out?
But jacquin, isn't the right fair and balanced? LOL
Big Ken Burns fan. I already have my DVR set.
