toothpaste tubes

Do you squeeze the toothpaste tube from the bottom, or roll it? What advantages are there to doing it "Your Way"?

I use the pump.

I start out squeezing wherever I please and then at the finish have to wind up doing it correctly.  Toothpaste is forgiving, that way.

My Dad who was extremely OCD pointed out to us one day( 1 am , woke us all up) that the toothpaste directions on the back of the tube said start at the bottom and roll up tube.  I start at the top and wrk my way to the bottom.
