TBD on Ning

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day. I did, but with a few complications. My Mom was hospitalized last night and so I spent the late evening at the ER. But you better know how grateful I am that I was able to be there for her. I know we all face many of these things as we get older and our parents, if we are still lucky enough to have them with us, are our hope and beacons of light that have shown us so many things in their lifetimes. Mostly how to have unconditional love and be our strongest source of love and security, dignity and respect. Happy Holidays to each of you and your families.

Hoping your mom is all right. Peace to you and yours!!!!

may your mom recover and may you have a happy holiday season

Thank you so much! She is still in the hospital. She was at a critical point when I got her there. Her sodium level was extremely low and magnesium as well. Her BP was 199 over 107. It was a bad situation. I am here to report that she is improving steadily and I have much hope. She was joking with the male nurse and having a few good exchanges...lol....my Mom. Well, she has a way to go to get her levels back to normal, but it looks good.  Thanks to you for the well wishes. I appreciate that very much.

Thank you for the update.

Godspeed!

I'm so glad to hear your mom is doing better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks TeeBubbaDee and LLL!!  I brought her home late afternoon on Sunday. She is still frail, but spunky...lol. I check on her daily and my daughter Jennifer has come to her aid doing housework and buying groceries. I love them both so much.
