The eternal optimist, eh, Tim??  :-)

a guy can dream,,can't he? LMBO

I'm really prepared and stocked up for emergencies, or for drop in company. The freezer always has something I can feed to people and I have the pantry stocked with things like water and dried foods in case of earthquake I especially keep toilet paper and paper towels in big supply.

My cupboard has nuts and cereals.

These days I'm not commuting much so the car doesn't have much in it except the usual flashlight and blanket and a spare tire. If I'm on vacation or traveling we have a first aid kit, water and food.

You're the smart one!!

Two extra each of my favorite fishing lure in case I lose one.

about a thousand years' worth of income tax returns

helmet,roll cage and fire extinguisher.

I drive myself and everyone else crazy with the "just in cases". I guess maybe its due to EVERY TIME I ever went on a road trip, my car broke down. This went on for about 15 years...different cars or different troubles. So, if I'm travelling by car, I have all kinds of things I take along that I almost never use. My sister in laws used to tease me because I always brought an extra jacket in case someone forgot THEIRS. Yeah...they would LAUGH at me and then humbly come to me and ask if I had an EXTRA coat.

"just in case" I always have tissues and spare keys in my purse. Remember when we girls had to carry a dime in our shoes for a phone call at a telephone booth if we needed help or had trouble?

Rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda.  And wine.
