i've always heard that one of the most common dreams is about falling but the one i've always had, and still do have, is about being in a car wreck.

just the one about the ducks wearing straw hats and riding a roller coaster.  This one used to wake me up crying and so afraid that I had to be soothed back to sleep.  I was between 7 and 10 years old probably.  I never could remember the dream at the time.  Turns out, the ducks with straw hats were in an old storybook that I discovered by accident once while turning through it to read to my own children.  It was a big, thick Mother Goose Stories.  I remembered immediately when I saw the picture/drawing.  Don't know where the idea of their riding a roller coaster came from.  I'd never been on a roller coaster.
