Wow, Lj, my 2nd car was a 64 Plymouth Valiant with the push button auto tranny (not the slant 6, tho, it was a V8), fire engine red inside & out, I loved that car but sold it when I moved across country to marry ex-hubby. (Shoulda kept the car instead).

First car was a 64 Corvair and I hated it. I went thru a quart of oil a week.

The first car I ever drove was my mom's, my first car I purchased was a Mazda 626 LOVED IT!

LOVED my first car! My grandfather bought a new Volkswagen and gave me his 1950 Ford Coupe. Three on the tree with a straight six. He bought it slightly used in 1950, and gave it to me in 1965. Ran like a champ, and looked great except for one nickle size rust spot. Since he gave it to me in '65, and I couldn't get my licence until Feb. of '66, I drove that thing about a hundred miles in the drive way. Had to clean up the marks on the sidewalk from my "burnouts" before the parents got home.
