I saw the new CEO of Yahoo on Today this morning. She looked to be in her 30's and she was talking about how they had made so much improvement to Yahoo. It must just be you because she was sure everybody would love the new look.
I use Google as a home page. I can go anywhere from there.

i guess i could learn to like it....i have to overcome my squeamishness at stupidity tho...i'll try to write like the new yahoo writers...ahem....

in other news  playstations have their own websights....guess who was rocking what dress where and showing sideboobs....who are all these old people and why don't they die...gee congress and politics? isn't that one of those washington thingies?  how do you like me now?? how many times can i take my GED test if i don't pass it? whatevers!

change can be so hard on us old folks .. what a drag it is gettin old ..

i have MSN, you can pick whatever categories you want....

wow...grownup news...and they spell the words right and all that pointyheaded intellectual stuff...that could work...

Happy to help.

You are so right, Yahoo is a mess. I've used that as my homepage forever and I can't stand the new look. Maybe I'll try some of the suggestions here and find something I like.

the part on yahoo that really pissed me off is they don't have categories anymore. it is just a jumble of crap...and i've used that as a homepage for maybe 15 years because you could decide what you wanted to see and what you didn't want to see. now the only way i guess that works is if you keep signed in so they can track you and feed you more ads. but they STILL load all the crap up to start...i don't care about sports...or celebrities...or horoscopes...or any of the myriad bullshit categories they flood the page with...i do news, weather and a few other things  but that is it..so see ya, yahoo.. it was fun over the years...but every time you improved it, things got worse..

I just read that google's slogan was "Do No Evil" isn't that neat?

Drudge has a definite bias leaning right, to say the least.  But when I taught journalism, I always brought my kids to it because if you scroll and scroll you will see Reuters and Xinua press and BBC and NYTIMES and so many other media outlets and columnists on the bottom half of the page as well as lots and lots of news stories.

Drudge doesn't change the news stories, but he picks and chooses what he puts up; once you know he is right wing, the stories are still news stories.   I have learned so much about so many things and been able to easily compare what others say, etc. etc.
