It depends on where I am going as to what I carry. Also the time of day or night and what part of town. (if you get my drift) To work I have a bag tht I carry a change of clothes (due to the weather) water, etc.
Cash, change, sunglasses, keys, two checkbooks, a metal container with credit cards and license, old fashioned address book and usually various receipts from restaurants, gas and stores. Probably a few business cards with appointment dates and times.
I mostly don't carry a cell phone all listed above is fairly light weight. I no longer carry a brush for hair or any make-up. If I'm going a short distance I grab the little metal container, my keys and sunglasses and I'm good.
phone, wallet, small first aid kit, pens, various pieces of paper, sunglasses, reading glasses, several chapsticks, one lipstick, small brush, hairroller and bobby pins, contact solution, toothbrush and paste, hand lotion, bunch of biz cards, dunkin donut cards, keys, aspirin and ginger gum... and a compass..... i'm cracking myself up!! you'd think i actually went to far away places but i quess the point is, i could!.... surprisingly, my bag only weighs 3.5lbs!!
wow cindy , you sound like you're ready for a free weekend someplace .. me i take my wallet and keys and cup of water .. don't have a cell ..
Name it, it's in my pocketbook from time to time. I carry big purses and they are heavy, and I've thrown water bottles, my lunch, books, crosswords, fold up umbrellas--you name it. And when my kids were small, they would hang on my purse as well, making it even heavier.
Good idea! I'll pull them out of my purse and start chuckin' 'em.
I don't carry change anymore . Keep it in truck . I rarely carry anything in my pockets . Most of my shirts have a pocket . I put my thin billfold and keys in shirt pocket and my Cell if I'm gonna use it clipped to my shirt . Now in old days i may have sockets nuts , bolts , knife , screw's , pliers .
